In May, we launched our now famous Take Back the Business (TBTB) campaign to help practices re-acquire the repeat content lens sales from their patients. Most practices sell contacts at the time of the exam, but then lose that patient’s reorders because they are not set up for it. Being ready means having a store or contact lens ordering mechanism and making sure all of your patients know about the safety and convenience of reordering their contacts online…through you! We call that marketing!
Dr. Gretchen Brewer and Associates is a busy, two location practice located inside LensCrafters in the Philadelphia area. While the practice handles routine eye exams, eye care and medical services, a large portion of their service is contact lens fittings and sales.
In June, EyeCarePro launched our Take Back the Business campaign and the team in Dr. Brewer’s office jumped on it (well, not literally). The team promoted it through their website, Facebook and through an email blast that is part of the campaign assets. Over the course of just one month, the practice has had their best month ever of selling contacts online. Here are some stats. Check it out:
- Visits to the order contact lens online form on their website went from 8 last month to 178 this month
- 24 people filled out the order contact lens online form in the last month, whereas zero to two people would fill it out in an average month
- according to the team, many others called the office to reorder contacts over the phone
